Christopher Pugliese is a New York–born American artist whose work blends Renaissance influence with personal storytelling. After a retrospective at the New Britain Museum of American Art, he shifted from studio painting to large-scale public installations, performances, and street art projects. His ongoing initiative, “The Museum in the Streets,” encourages artists to bring original work directly into public spaces. Pugliese believes art is a foundational part of civilization and champions public art as a vital, accessible experience in an increasingly virtual world.
